Here’s something new: how about a tinge of lemon grass (tanglad) or ginger (luya) for a little zing? Simply boil these in water and use the water to prepare your Charantia.Try it! A perfect summer drink. Use fresh ponkan when in season.

  • 100 ml hot water
  • Juice of 1/2 Ponkan fruit
  • Cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 Lemon slice (optional)

  1. Brew Ampalaya tea bag in 100ml hot water for about 3 minutes.
  2. 2. Add juice of 1/2 ponkan fruit and a sachet of sweetener (or 1 tsp sugar).
